Lighting ceremony with Ronald
Last night the kids and I went to the annual lighting ceremony at our local Ronald McDonald House. It's always one of my favorite things we do each holiday season. Such an emotional night honoring the house, charity and children.
We ate some dinner and then listened to my brother (the President of the house) speak as well as other members of the board. A local Indian Tribe donated a check for $200,000 to the house, there was a children's choir, Santa and of course......Ronald McDonald......in the flesh. Makenna was very taken with him.

Oh and I have to share this one that I took of my brother while he was giving his speech....He's grown up to be such a handsome guy and he's so compassionate for the things he believes in, like this charity.
